Fallsburg CSD High School Site Visit Report: 6/27/2023

Members On-Site:

• Daniel Grecco – Business Manager @ Fallsburg Central School District
• Richard Kinman – Electrical Contractor @ Pantel Electric
• Laurie Degen – Lighting Designer @ PureTek Group

Overview:

The primary objective of Tuesday’s meeting was to conduct an in-depth site overview with Daniel Grecco of Fallsburg CSD, Richard Kinman of Pantel Electric, and Laurie Degen of PureTek Group.  Salient information on lighting layout and electrical infrastructure were determined to drive forward next phase of on-site electrical work.

Key Highlights:

– Review of Existing System: Determined that the existing system is no longer functioning.  Basic troubleshooting was conducted to no avail.

– In-Depth Site Overview: Conducted full site walkthrough to review project scope.  Existing electrical infrastructure was inspected.  Requirements for initiating electrical work and estimated start date were discussed.

What’s Next?

• Fallsburg CSD HS staff to remove scenic pieces and ‘fixture graveyard’ from loft area to streamline electrical work.
• Pantel Electric to be on site to remove old fixtures and existing dimmer rack.  Further timelines for electrical work to be determined.
• Rigging install dates to be revised to better meet project timelines.
