Northern Highlands Regional High School TV Studio Upgrade
Northern Highlands Regional High School embarked on an ambitious project to upgrade its TV studio to a cutting-edge media production facility. The project was led by PureTek Group in collaboration with Keyboard Consultants and E&J Electric. This transformation focused on modernizing the studio’s audiovisual systems, creating a versatile and professional-grade learning environment for students interested in media, broadcasting, and digital content creation.
The main objective was to provide students with hands-on experience using the latest industry-standard technologies in broadcasting and media production, offering them the tools and skills needed to succeed in the ever-evolving media landscape. In addition to technical upgrades, the project emphasized energy efficiency, safety, and ease of use for both students and staff.

State-of-the-Art Media Equipment
PureTek Group and Keyboard Consultants spearheaded the integration of advanced audiovisual (A/V) equipment, including high-definition cameras, digital audio systems, and professional-grade lighting. The upgraded studio now offers Northern Highlands students access to the same tools used in professional production environments. These upgrades ensure students are working with the latest technology, making their transition into media careers seamless.
Custom Control Systems
To create a unified, user-friendly experience, PureTek Group designed a custom control system that integrates the studio’s lighting into a single, intuitive interface. This solution allows students and instructors to easily manage productions, from basic operations to complex broadcast projects, with minimal technical expertise.
Services
PureTek Group offered comprehensive programming, commissioning, and basic training for all installed technology in the TV studio, ensuring optimal performance and user proficiency. We also implemented a five-year maintenance program, complemented by a TV Production Student Seminar, to enrich educational opportunities and ensure the long-term sustainability of Northern Highlands Regional High School’s TV studio technology infrastructure.
