Plainfield HS Site Visit Report: 8/1/2023

Overview:
- Reviewed rigging, drop-ceiling, and electrical for the Esports arena. Resolutions include:
- Confirmed rigging work commenced in Esports arena with dropping points for pipe-grid system
- Drop ceiling to be mounted as high as possible with 3″ gap from ceiling support beam to ceiling tile
- Televisions to have ~6.5′ clearance from floor. Requested to tilt televisions to maximize clearance.
- Wall-mounted AC units will be moved as drapery will interefere with their operation.
- Niram to provide solution to ensure gap space between window and drapery does not leak light into Esports arena.
- Flooring and drop ceiling to be installed after pipe-grid system and electrical is concluded. Removal of wall features including chalkboards and exiting security system to be conducuted in intermin.
- Existing rack to be removed and new rack will be installed in adjacent room.
- Sal Electric, PureTek Group, and Niram Construction reviewed needed access holes in auditorium including for front-of-house pipe, speaker mounting locations, and electrical access under balcony. In addition, reviewed locations of patching work where audio and stage boxes will be removed.
- Packages delivered to Plainfield High School were inspected and reviewed to ensure accuracy of delivery schedule.
What’s Next?
- Sal Electric and PureTek to provide estimated date of completion of pipe-grid system and electrical so drop-ceiling and floor install can be scheduled.
- As per request of Plainfield HS IT Department, PureTek will provide a list of computer peripherals for Esports Arena gaming stations.
- Niram Construction to receive access hole locations in auditorium and conduct cut-outs.
