Project Submittals

The project submittals are presented to Plainfield Public Schools for review and approval prior to initiating delivery and construction. This document serves the purposes of verifying compliance with project specifications, ensuring quality and safety standards, and facilitating communication and coordination among stakeholders. The project submittals also provide a documentation trail for future reference and maintenance.

The following are included within the project submittals:

  • Design layouts and details
  • Wiring plots and one-line diagrams
  • List of responsibilities per party
  • Recommended scope of work for Plainfield HS
  • Product specifications and data

Upon approval of the submittals by Plainfield Public Schools and DMR Architects, material orders and on-site work will commence.

Note Re: Specification Placeholders

In order to initiate product deliveries and on-site work, select product specifications are marked with “specification placeholders.”  This status is to avoid backorders and other delivery delays, or to complete nuanced engineered design tasks.  A project submittals addendum with a fully complete selection of products is expected to be delivered for Plainfield Public Schools’ review and approval within 1-2 weeks.

  3. Upon approval, material orders will be released and on-site preparation work will initiate.
  4. Within 1-2 weeks, remaining product specifications will be submitted for Plainfield Public Schools review and release upon approval.
