Overview:

The majority of equipment has been mounted in the Esports arena.
Over-stage rigging repairs have been completed. New rigging blocks have been installed because existing are not correct size for the counterweight rigging system. These rigging blocks have been set aside on the stage a palette for disposal or to be used at another school.
The install of the RGBW strip lighting that will provide dynamic effects along the house wall and ceiling in the auditorium has been initiated.
Specific project deadlines have been established::
- Esports: Electrical labor to be completed by January 16 to allow for furniture and flooring work to commence.
- Auditorium: House and RGBW strip lighting to be installed by February 19 to allow for seating to be installed.
(2) additional lights by the hallway doors have been added to the project scope at no charge.
Verbal confirmation has been received approving the structural integrity in the Plainfield HS auditorium to support the weight of line array speakers, IMAX screen, and FOH hoist.

What’s Next?

Electrical work will move towards conclusion in the Esports arena including completing wiring, data terminations, and initial testing. Remaining acoustic dampening light fixtures will be hung at a later time due to faulty support mechanism and to preserve their appearance during dusty labor process.
The track corners in the Esports arena as well as a pipe grid support point will be adjusted to ensure high level of detail and aesthetics. With adjusted pipe grid support, perfect criss-cross RGBW strip lighting will be mounted to ceiling.
House lighting and RGBW strip lighting will continue to be installed in the auditorium.
